Süleyman Soylu evaluates the post-Erdoğan era: 'They will not allow it to be completed'
AKP MP Süleyman Soylu made significant statements regarding the post-Erdoğan era and highlighted the projects that need to be carried out for Turkey's future.
Appearing before the public after a long hiatus, former Interior Minister and AKP MP Süleyman Soylu made statements regarding current issues.
Responding to questions from Ahmet Metan, Soylu shared his views, particularly regarding the post-Erdoğan era.
Soylu said, "Tayyip Erdoğan still has many more great services to bring to Turkey. Turkey needs to produce its own aircraft and aircraft engines, and complete its air defense system.
Furthermore, the demographic structure must be ensured to gain an upward momentum.
The goal of a terror-free Turkey must be completed. They will not allow these projects to be completed without Erdoğan.
In the last quarter-century, no one other than Erdoğan could have withstood the internal and external pressures.
I am a traditionalist; wherever Erdoğan points, I follow," he said.
"A SAPLING TO FILL HIS PLACE"
Previously, Yüksel Tokur, a writer close to the government, had called for President Erdoğan's retirement while suggesting a name for the post-Erdoğan era. Tokur had stated, "Even if that great plane tree falls, he has raised a 'SAPLING' (Fidan) to fill his place."
