It has been determined when Gürsel Tekin will go to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency! 'MPs will welcome him'
Former CHP deputy and journalist Barış Yarkadaş claimed that Gürsel Tekin and the trustee committee will go to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency on Monday and that some CHP deputies will welcome Tekin.
The Istanbul 45th Civil Court of First Instance had dismissed CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik and his team over allegations of irregularities during the Istanbul Congress, appointing former deputy Gürsel Tekin as a trustee in their place. Following the decision, it was announced that Tekin would go to the party building on Monday with a committee consisting of Zeki Şen, Hasan Babacan, Müjdat Gürbüz, and Erkan Narsap. However, Hasan Babacan and Müjdat Gürbüz have withdrawn from this duty.
BARIŞ YARKADAŞ: "TEKİN HAS PUT ON A SHIRT OF FIRE"
Journalist and former CHP deputy Barış Yarkadaş, in a program he attended on TGRT Haber, stated that Gürsel Tekin prevented a potential chaos by accepting the trustee role. Yarkadaş said, "Despite immoral slanders, Tekin has put on a shirt of fire. He is waiting to start his duty quietly on Monday. If Gürsel Tekin had not accepted the duty, the court could have given this task to someone from the outside."
TENSION EXPECTED AT THE PROVINCIAL BUILDING
According to the report in Türkiye newspaper, there are rumors that attempts might be made to prevent Gürsel Tekin from entering the party's provincial building. Drawing attention to this situation, Yarkadaş stated, "On Monday, Gürsel Tekin will take over the duty of the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency, which has turned into a public duty."
PREPARATIONS FOR SUPPORT FROM DEPUTIES
Yarkadaş also said that Tekin will be welcomed by some CHP deputies at the provincial presidency building on Monday. Stating that "The deputies do not want any tension," Yarkadaş noted that an intense effort is being made within the party to prevent potential disputes.
