Access restrictions imposed on journalists' and agency's X accounts from Turkey
The social media accounts of journalists Nasuh Bektaş and Fırat Fıstık, as well as the Mezopotamya Agency, have been blocked from access in Turkey. The X platform has prevented the relevant accounts from being viewed within the country.
According to a statement by Engelli Web, it has been reported that the accounts belonging to Nasuh Bektaş, Fırat Fıstık, and the Mezopotamya Agency on the X social media platform have been blocked from access from Turkey. This step was taken under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651, citing the protection of national security and public order.
The accounts in question cannot be accessed from within the borders of Turkey. The X management officially implemented the restriction, rendering the accounts invisible.
