Apple unveils new version of Siri with enhanced artificial intelligence features

Apple announced a completely revamped version of Siri at an event held recently. The new Siri leverages advanced artificial intelligence techniques to provide more complex and multi-step solutions to user requests. Demonstrations during the event showcased the virtual assistant's ability to manage the process of purchasing concert tickets, plan events, and detect objects in photos to perform various actions regarding them.

The updated Siri features significant changes to both its user interface and voice. The assistant will now be managed through a new bubble that appears at the top of the screen. Users will also be able to adjust Siri's speaking style and speed according to their personal preferences.

Apple executives announced that Siri will work in synchronization across all Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and that the user's interaction history can be tracked through a new application. It will be possible to communicate with Siri either by text or voice.

Some of the implemented features come with certain limitations. Craig Federighi, Apple's Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, emphasized that AI models requiring more server power, such as image generation, will be limited in daily use. For users seeking broader usage options, additional access choices will be offered via an iCloud+ subscription.

Due to geographical and technical conditions, the advanced features will not reach all Apple users immediately. AI-powered functions will not be available to iPhone and iPad users in European Union countries initially. In China, the new features will remain temporarily disabled until local regulations are finalized. Furthermore, a large portion of the innovative functions will only be available on Apple devices equipped with the latest and most powerful processors.

Contrary to expectations, there were no major innovative surprises at the event. Following the presentation, which was closely watched by investors, the tech giant's shares lost approximately 2 percent in value.
