The European sales schedule for Samsung's new wireless earbuds, which differ from in-ear designs, has begun to take shape. The model is expected to enter the European market in January 2027, specifically in the third week of the month.
Samsung has not yet announced a separate launch date for Turkey. However, with the European schedule becoming clearer, it is anticipated that the Galaxy Buds On could be released in Turkey during the same period or shortly thereafter. For this reason, January is seen as a prominent period for users in Turkey as well.
Introduced last month, the Galaxy Buds On first went on sale in South Korea. Sales of the earbuds in the US market began on November 6. No official information has been shared yet regarding pricing for Europe and Turkey for the model, which was announced with a starting price of 229.99 dollars in the US.
CLIP-ON DESIGN AND UP TO 38 HOURS OF BATTERY LIFE
The most striking aspect of the Galaxy Buds On is that they attach to the ear with a clip-like mechanism. This structure aims to offer a different user experience than traditional wireless earbuds that sit in the ear canal with silicone tips.
On the audio side, each earbud features 11.3 mm TwinBoost speakers. Samsung also includes Sound Leakage Reduction technology to minimize sound leakage, which can become more pronounced in open-design earbuds.
Among the connectivity features, Bluetooth 6.2 support stands out. The model is compatible with AAC, SBC, SSC, and SSC UHQ audio codecs. Actual sound quality will vary depending on the phone used, connection conditions, and the selected codec.
For calls, each earbud contains three microphones and a Voice Pickup Unit (VPU). While clearer calls are targeted with Super Wideband technology, head-motion controls, and support for Bixby and Google Gemini Live are also among the device's standout features.
Equipped with an IP54 rating, the Galaxy Buds On offer resistance to dust and water splashes. The case, which supports wireless charging, also features a USB Type-C connection. The earbuds promise up to 9.5 hours of music playback and 5.5 hours of talk time on a single charge; the total music playback time with the charging case reaches up to 38 hours.
