New claims have emerged regarding the iPhone 18 model, which is expected to be introduced by Apple in the spring of 2027. It is suggested that the phone may not offer the long-awaited front design change, but instead may come with more significant innovations in terms of processor and battery.
According to a post by Digital Chat Station, known for smartphone leaks, the iPhone 18 will not feature a smaller Dynamic Island design. According to this claim, the front of the device will largely maintain its current look. A 6.3-inch OLED screen and a 120 Hz refresh rate are also expected to continue.

The leaks indicate that the real innovations will be on the hardware side. The iPhone 18 is expected to come with a high-capacity battery aimed at longer usage times and the A20 chip, which is claimed to be prepared with TSMC's 2-nanometer manufacturing process.
It is being discussed that the new manufacturing architecture could increase energy efficiency, which could provide the device with advantages in terms of both performance and battery life. However, this information has not yet been confirmed by Apple.
It also seems likely that the hardware upgrades will be reflected in prices. In Turkey, the 256 GB model of the iPhone 17 is sold in Apple's store with a starting price of 99,999 TL. Although there is no clear price information for the iPhone 18, it is estimated that the new chip and battery costs could lead to a higher starting price.
