The release schedule for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), one of the most anticipated titles in the gaming world, has been clarified. According to statements from Rockstar Games and its parent company Take-Two Interactive, the game will be released simultaneously worldwide on November 19, 2026.
Expectations for the new game in the series had been high for a long time following the release of GTA V in 2013. The latest installment of the brand, which generated approximately 10 billion dollars in revenue with the previous game, has become one of the biggest topics in the gaming industry even before its release.

PRE-ORDER AND PRE-LOAD SCHEDULE
According to data shared as of October 2026, the estimated number of pre-orders for GTA 6 has exceeded 6 million copies worldwide. It is stated that approximately 4.8 million of these orders were placed through the PlayStation 5 platform.
The pre-order process is also ongoing for players in Turkey at digital stores. According to the announced pricing, the standard edition of the game is on sale for 3,999 TL, while the Ultimate edition is priced at 4,999 TL.
For users who make digital purchases, the pre-load process will begin on November 12, 2026. It has been reported that game files can be downloaded to consoles before the release day via the Rockstar Games Store, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store.
It is stated that physical boxed versions will contain a download code instead of a disc. Thus, players who prefer the boxed version are also expected to benefit from the same pre-load schedule.

On its release day, GTA 6 will only be playable on PlayStation 5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X/S consoles. No official date or timeframe has been announced yet regarding the PC version of the game.
The story of the new game is built on a narrative inspired by the well-known crime figures Bonnie and Clyde. Players will alternately control two main characters named Jason and Lucia in the game, which is set in the Vice City region of the fictional state of Leonida. Lucia stands out as the first fully developed female main character in the series.
The impact of the game's release outside the gaming industry is also being discussed. According to research and expert assessments, it is estimated that approximately 1.5 million employees in the US alone may not go to work on November 19 by using sick leave, annual leave, or paid time off.
