Message pinning feature arrives for WhatsApp
If permitted by the administrator, every participant in a WhatsApp group will be able to use the message pinning feature.
The useful new feature for WhatsApp primarily focuses on group chats. Thanks to this, individuals participating in a group can pin messages if the group administrator grants permission. Pinned messages appear at the top of the chat.
The duration for which a pinned message remains at the top can be set to 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days.
WhatsApp had previously made headlines by bringing its "view once" feature, already available for photos and videos, to voice messages.
