A striking claim has emerged from Italy regarding Beşiktaş, which is continuing its transfer efforts as part of its squad planning for the new season. It has been stated that the Black and Whites have added RB Leipzig's North Macedonian midfielder Eljif Elmas to their agenda.

According to a report by the Italian press outlet Sport Mediaset, Beşiktaş has initiated contact for Elmas, who played for Napoli last season but returned to RB Leipzig after his purchase option was not exercised.

The report states that the 26-year-old footballer, who is reportedly not keen on staying in Germany, has a transfer fee of approximately 10 million euros. It was also reported that in addition to Beşiktaş, Juventus is also showing interest in Elmas.

Eljif Elmas, who previously played for Fenerbahçe in Turkey, is expected to make a decision regarding his future in the coming days.
