Bodrum FK's Burhan Eşer sends message ahead of Erokspor match: We want to get our first 3 points with our fans

In the 5th week of the Trendyol 1st League, Bodrum FK will host Esenler Erokspor at home tomorrow at 20:00. The green-and-white team wants to secure their first 3 points of the season and start a winning streak by winning in front of their fans.

Continuing their preparations at the Yalıçiftlik İsmail Altındağ Facilities, Bodrum FK held a tactical training session under the management of head coach Burhan Eşer. Speaking after the training, Eşer stated that the team is going through a restructuring process and that the players' cohesion is increasing day by day.

Evaluating the 1 point earned from the away match against Manisa FK last week, Eşer reminded that they took the field with 1 foreign and 10 domestic players, and that the team's average age is 23. Stating that he is pleased with the fighting spirit of the young players, Eşer expressed that they barely gave the opponent any scoring chances.

Eşer said, "There is no one who wants the 3 points more than we do. We also want the 3 points," adding that while their expectation in the Manisa away game was a win, the 1 point earned was important for a newly formed team.

Emphasizing that Esenler Erokspor has a strong squad, Eşer noted that the league has not yet fully settled due to the transfer window. Stating that Erokspor acquired 5-6 players from the championship squad of Çorum last season, Eşer said that the opponent has not yet been able to reflect this quality on the scoreboard.

Speaking about Bodrum FK's game development, Eşer said, "Our game is also developing, our young players are getting used to it, and we are slowly overcoming the adaptation problem. With the support of our fans, we hope to get our first 3 points in this midweek fixture," he said.

Touching on the transfer process, Eşer stated that the addition of Vincent Aboubakar to the team is important for them. Expressing their belief that the experienced footballer will contribute both with his leadership on the field and the experience he will pass on to the young players, Eşer noted that the player is training twice a day to prepare for the team's tempo following his individual workouts.

Stating that Ruben was already training at the team he came from, Eşer said they would evaluate the final status of the players. Eşer expressed that if they feel well, some names could be included in the squad for the Erokspor match.
