Fenerbahçe settles for a draw away: Completes league phase with 12 points
In the 8th week of the UEFA Europa League, Fenerbahçe drew 1-1 away against the Romanian representative Steaua Bucharest (FCSB).
Fenerbahçe took the lead in the 18th minute with a goal from İsmail Yüksek. The home side responded in the 71st minute with a goal from Yuri Cisotti.
Fenerbahçe finished the league phase of the UEFA Europa League with 12 points after a 1-1 draw with FCSB in Bucharest. Their opponent in the play-offs will be either Viktoria Plzen or Nottingham Forest.

Archie Brown, Levent Mercan, Edson Alvarez, and Jhon Duran, who were injured, as well as the suspended Milan Skriniar, could not play in the away match in Romania. In addition to these players, Matteo Guendouzi, Anthony Musaba, and Mert Günok, who joined the team during the mid-season transfer window, were ineligible to play due to tournament regulations.

Fenerbahçe fans did not leave their team alone in Romania, just as they do in every European away game.
The yellow-and-navy supporters, who came to Bucharest from Turkey as well as many European countries, spent the day in the area known as the Old Town before gathering in the designated area for them.

The fans, who walked the 4.5-kilometer distance under the escort of security forces, then reached the stadium.
Filling the section allocated to them, the Fenerbahçe fans supported the players by calling them to the stands one by one before the match.

Romanian fans, on the other hand, left the stands empty. While FCSB has fallen below expectations this season, the fans did not come to the stadium.
