Fenerbahçe Tarfin to face Olympiacos in the first-ever EuroLeague Süper Cup
Fenerbahçe Tarfin will compete against Olympiacos in Abu Dhabi on September 18 for a spot in the final of the inaugural EuroLeague Süper Cup.
The teams that will compete in the first-ever EuroLeague Süper Cup basketball tournament have been announced. According to the EuroLeague's announcement, Fenerbahçe Tarfin, Olympiacos, Real Madrid, and Dubai Basketball will take the court on September 18-19 in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
The yellow-navy team will face the Greek representative Olympiacos in the tournament's semi-final on Friday, September 18. In the other semi-final matchup, Real Madrid will compete against Dubai Basketball.
The announcement noted that Olympiacos is participating in the event as the EuroLeague champion of the last two years, while Real Madrid is participating as last season's finalist. Dubai Basketball will join the tournament under the host quota.
Following the semi-final matches, the final and third-place games will be played on Saturday, September 19. Ticket packages covering all four matches are on sale for between 143 and 359 euros, while it was announced that single-day tickets will go on sale on August 31 with prices ranging from 55 to 256 euros.
