Historic fine for Kayserispor from the PFDK
The PFDK has imposed a fine of 853,500 TL on host club Kayserispor due to pitch incidents during the Galatasaray match.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) has handed down a series of penalties to the host team following the incidents that occurred during the Kayserispor match, which Galatasaray won 5-1 away from home.
According to the statement released by the PFDK, Kayserispor was fined 336,000 TL in accordance with Articles 52/2 and 46/1 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions due to pitch incidents caused by fans during the Kayserispor-Galatasaray match.
In the same match, the Kayserispor club was fined 360,000 TL in accordance with Article 49/1 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions for allowing more spectators into the stands than the stadium's capacity. Due to the failure to keep stairwells clear, and because this action was repeated for the second time this season, Kayserispor was fined 157,500 TL. In total, the Disciplinary Board imposed a fine of 853,500 TL on the yellow-red club.
Furthermore, it was decided that the electronic tickets of spectators located in the North Stand Lower B, C, and D blocks, who engaged in ugly and bad chanting during the Kayserispor-Galatasaray match, will be blocked, thereby preventing their entry to the next home match.
