As a result of the examinations conducted at the sponsor hospital, Acıbadem, it was stated that a tear in the lateral ligaments of the right ankle and the joint capsule, accompanied by bleeding, was detected in the German footballer.
In the statement, it was noted that Sane's treatment has begun, while no clear timeline was shared regarding the player's return to the pitch.

According to expert opinions, the recovery time for such injuries involving lateral ligament tears and joint capsule damage varies on average between 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the severity of the tear.
While it is possible for players to return to the pitch within 3-4 weeks with conservative treatment for mild to moderate tears, it was stated that this period can extend up to 5–6 weeks in cases accompanied by bleeding and capsule damage.
