İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu announces: 'We have parted ways'

Messages regarding the refereeing system in Turkish football were shared with the public at a ceremony held in Riva. Speaking at the Central Referee Committee Badge Ceremony organized by the Turkish Football Federation, TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu made statements regarding refereeing practices and the federation's approach.

BADGE CEREMONY HELD IN RIVA

TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu attended the Central Referee Committee Badge Ceremony held at the Turkish Football Federation's facilities in Riva. The latest developments in the field of refereeing and the decisions taken were shared at the ceremony.

"WE HAVE PARTED WAYS" ANNOUNCEMENT

Speaking at the ceremony, Hacıosmanoğlu recalled the message they have given to referees since the day they took office. Stating that they support referees in applying the rules fairly, Hacıosmanoğlu used the following expressions:

"From the very first day I took office, we told our referees, 'Apply the rules fairly, we are with you.' A straight wall does not collapse. Honesty is indispensable to a profession. We have parted ways with those who fell into the folly of acting in a way that is contrary to instructions and inconsistent with the virtue of refereeing."

Continuing his remarks, the TFF President stated that efforts to carry Turkish football into the future are ongoing. Hacıosmanoğlu expressed that more support should be given to referees during the transition process and called on all stakeholders of the football family.

36 REFEREES TO WEAR FIFA BADGES

Hacıosmanoğlu also provided information regarding the number of referees who will wear FIFA badges this year. According to the announcement, a total of 36 referees, 7 of whom are receiving them for the first time, have earned the right to receive FIFA badges. It was also noted that FIFA referees officiated in 33 international matches last year.
