Liverpool FC International Academy to meet young footballers in Turkey
Liverpool's international academy program will provide training to children aged 5-16 in Turkey using the club's training methodology.
Premier League side Liverpool has announced that its world-renowned development and youth program, the Liverpool FC International Academy, will begin operations in Turkey. The program will cover young footballers between the ages of 5 and 16.
According to the statement from the club, the academy will run a development program aimed at teaching children how to play the "Liverpool way." The training sessions aim to develop technical, tactical, physical, and social skills simultaneously.

Former Liverpool player and Liverpool FC International Academy ambassador Ian Rush stated that Turkey has a strong football culture and expressed his excitement about adding Turkey to the academy's global network.
The goal of our international coaching programs is to provide young players with a top-level experience. In addition to player development, coach training also forms an important dimension of our program.
It was stated that local coaches will also be introduced to the philosophy and techniques applied at the main academy in Liverpool as part of the program. Thus, it is aimed for both players and coaches to have development opportunities both on and off the pitch.
Selçuk Güler, General Manager of Liverpool FC International Academy Turkey, said they are proud to bring the academy to Turkey. Güler emphasized that benefiting from the club's football philosophy is an important opportunity for young players.
Reminding that Liverpool has a large fan base in Turkey, Güler noted that their goal is to create a positive environment where children can improve their football skills, gain self-confidence, and enjoy the game.
