Mauro Icardi wins, Wanda Nara loses
Mauro Icardi, who wrote his name into history while wearing the Galatasaray jersey, has received the favorable ruling he was expecting in his divorce case in Italy and shared the news on social media.
Mauro Icardi, who left the club after four successful seasons at Galatasaray and won the hearts of the fans by breaking goal-scoring records, has also experienced a significant development in his private life. A ruling in his favor has been issued by an Italian court in the long-running divorce case with his ex-wife, Wanda Nara.
In the case heard in Milan, Italy, Nara's request for monthly alimony of approximately 400,000 euros was rejected. Furthermore, the court did not find merit in the appeal filed against this decision, finalizing the cancellation ruling and concluding the process.

Icardi shared the good news with his followers on his social media account. The star footballer included the following statements in his post:
“Good morning, Milan. Everything is fine here; there is a new decision. In my divorce case, a demand had been made for 250,000 euros per month for my ex-wife, 65,000 euros for each of my daughters, and 100,000 euros per month as divorce compensation. The judge rejected this madness on June 1, 2026. The party that was unhappy with the decision and tried to take my money appealed. Today, July 27, 2026, the Italian Court's decision was very clear: APPEAL INVALID. Thus, all demands and avenues for appeal are closed. All that remains is the announcement of the official divorce decree. The functioning of the Italian justice system is wonderful. Yet, they called me 'crazy' back in 2024 for initiating the entire legal process in Italy.”
Shortly after, Icardi made another post, sending a veiled message to his ex-wife, stating, “A king does not argue with pawns; he just keeps moving forward. Don't kick the board; your turn to see how the game ends will come too.”
