Samsunspor takes legal action

In a statement released by the Samsunspor Club, it was stated that reports regarding 'sponsorship of another club' and 'transfers' are baseless, and that President Yıldırım's sole focus is Samsunspor.

The statement from the red-and-whites read, "Reports circulated in recent days by certain media outlets and on social media platforms involving the name of our President, Mr. Yüksel Yıldırım, do not reflect the truth in any way.

In particular, the allegations made regarding a player transfer, as well as reports suggesting our President is associated with different clubs or even that he will sponsor another club in the Süper Lig, are entirely baseless, speculative, and consist of content intended to mislead the public.

We kindly request that no credence be given to such untrue and unfounded reports spread using the names of our club and our President. All necessary legal processes regarding the content in question will be initiated, and legal actions against those responsible will be carried out meticulously.

Our President, Mr. Yüksel Yıldırım's, sole focus is Samsunspor.

All of his efforts are directed toward increasing our club's sporting success, strengthening its corporate structure, and building a sustainable future.

There is absolutely no question of providing sponsorship to any club other than Samsunspor or making any attempt in that direction," the statement concluded.
