In recent days, reports have emerged suggesting that Beşiktaş is interested in the famous Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Al Nassr. Responding to these claims, Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı spoke to Ergin Aslan from TRT Spor. Aslan shared Adalı's statements with his followers on social media.
Regarding the Ronaldo transfer, Adalı said humorously, 'I found oil under the castle on the seaside. I'll bring Messi along with Ronaldo.' With these words, Adalı took a humorous approach to the transfer rumors and also touched upon the club's strategy.
The Beşiktaş President stated, 'We are proceeding in line with the strategy we have determined from the beginning,' drawing attention to how significant a burden Ronaldo's salary could be for the club. Furthermore, he used the expressions, 'Does anyone know how much these names earn as they approach the end of their careers? What is the purpose of these rumors?' implying that the transfer gossip was unrealistic.
