Tensions rise at Fenerbahçe - Samsunspor match: Yüksel Yıldırım gets into an altercation with Fenerbahçe fans

The finale of the Süper Lig match, in which Fenerbahçe defeated Samsunspor 3-2 with a goal scored in stoppage time, witnessed great chaos not only on the pitch but also in the stands. 

Following Sidiki Cherif's goal in the 90+5th minute that secured the victory for Fenerbahçe, tensions rose in the protocol tribune.

VERBAL ALTERCATION TURNS INTO A FIGHT

After the goal celebration, a verbal argument broke out between Samsunspor President Yüksel Yıldırım and the Fenerbahçe stands. This verbal exchange, which flared up in a short time, turned into a fight as the anger between the parties increased. The ensuing scuffle was difficult to calm down by other spectators and officials in the tribune.

As the events escalated, Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran personally went to the section where the tension occurred to intervene.
