100th anniversary of Turkey-US relations to be celebrated in New York, hosted by Hamdi Ulukaya

The 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Turkey and the United States will be celebrated with a special gala night to be held in New York during the United Nations General Assembly week.

The event, planned under the title "100 Years of Friendship," will be hosted by Chobani Founder and CEO Hamdi Ulukaya and his wife, Louise Ulukaya. The event is expected to bring together figures from diplomacy, the business world, science, art, sports, and civil society from both countries.

The gala night aims to highlight cultural elements unique to Turkey. It is stated that the program will emphasize the cultural ties between the two countries through flavors inspired by Turkish cuisine, music, and various performances.

In addition to diplomatic contacts during the UN week, commercial relations will also be on the agenda. A high-level roundtable meeting will be organized in partnership with the US-Turkey Business Council, chaired by Hamdi Ulukaya, and the Turkey-US Business Council (TAİK).

The meeting is planned to bring together top executives from global American companies and representatives of the Turkish business world. The discussions are intended to pave the way for contacts that will support the 100 billion dollar bilateral trade target expressed by the leaders of the two countries.
