A suicide car bomb attack was carried out against an army facility in the Bannu region of Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to initial reports, a total of 15 people, including 4 children and 2 women, lost their lives, and 25 people were injured in the attack.
Authorities stated that two explosive-laden vehicles crashed into the wall of the facility and detonated, and that 6 terrorists who attempted to enter the facility following the explosion were neutralized.
It was reported that a mosque was partially destroyed and the roof of a house collapsed due to the force of the explosions. The attack is believed to have been carried out by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), also known as the Pakistani Taliban.
