64% of survey participants in the US are dissatisfied with Trump

A new poll conducted in the US has shown that dissatisfaction with President Donald Trump's job performance remains high. According to the survey conducted by the University of Massachusetts Amherst between August 21-26 with 1,000 adults, 32% of participants stated that they approve of Trump's presidential performance, while 64% said they do not. The rate of undecided respondents was measured at 3%.

The survey also asked about recent attacks on Iran under the heading of foreign policy. While 26% of participants supported the US's recent attacks on Iran, 54% stated that they did not find these steps appropriate. The percentage of those who agreed with the view that “attacking Iran was a mistake” was 55%, while 27% disagreed with this view.

Negative opinions also stood out in the question regarding “how well Trump is managing the war with Iran.” While 25% of participants made a positive assessment on this issue, 68% described the management as “not very good” or “not good at all.”

In the area of the economy, support for inflation policies remained low. While 22% of those who participated in the survey stated that they supported Trump's policies on inflation, 75% expressed the opposite view.

A similar picture had emerged in the university's poll conducted in March. In that survey, 62% of participants had stated that they were not satisfied with Trump's performance, and 63% had stated that they did not approve of Trump's stance regarding Iran.
