Businessman Elon Musk: 'Artificial intelligence will surpass humans'
Elon Musk, one of the world's wealthiest people, stated that artificial intelligence will surpass humans by next year.
Billionaire businessman Elon Musk, one of the co-founders of the artificial intelligence company OpenAI, has announced that artificial intelligence technologies will surpass humans by next year.
Musk, the owner of Tesla, SpaceX, and the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, claimed that artificial intelligence will be smarter than humans within the next two years.
Musk stated that as long as the production of electricity and advanced chips continues, artificial intelligence will move ahead of humans:
"My guess is that we will have AI that is smarter than any one human by the end of next year"
Musk added that within five years, the capacity of artificial intelligence will exceed that of all humans combined.
