Death toll in Gaza rises to 37,164! EU issues statement on 'aid trucks'
The death toll from Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has risen to 37,164. The European Union (EU) announced that more than 2,000 humanitarian aid trucks are waiting in Egypt to enter Gaza.
The Israeli army has been continuing its massacres in the Gaza Strip for 249 days.
In a statement issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, it was reported that 40 people lost their lives and 120 others were injured in 3 attacks carried out by Israel on the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours.
The statement noted that the number of people who have lost their lives in the attacks since October 7 has risen to 37,164, while the number of injured has reached 84,832.
AID TRUCKS WAITING TO ENTER EGYPT
Due to the Israeli army's operation against the city of Rafah on the Egyptian border in the southern Gaza Strip, aid cannot enter the region.
In a statement regarding the issue by the European Union (EU) Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid department, it was stated that more than 2,000 trucks carrying humanitarian aid are waiting in Egypt to enter Gaza.
The statement, which noted that the Rafah border crossing is closed due to intense military operations, emphasized that the EU advocates for continuous, unimpeded, and safe access to humanitarian aid.
