Hezbollah: We targeted Israeli soldiers, there are dead and wounded

In a statement issued by Hezbollah, it was stated that Israeli vehicles and soldiers advancing toward Tel Nahas, near the town of Kafr Kila in southern Lebanon, were targeted.

The statement noted that clashes took place between Hezbollah members and Israeli soldiers, and reported that there were dead and wounded among the Israeli soldiers.

It was also stated that a group of Israeli soldiers in the al-Umra region, located west of the town of al-Wazzani in southern Lebanon, was struck with numerous missiles.

It was reported that an Israeli military base west of Haifa in northern Israel was also targeted with numerous missiles.

35 MISSILES FIRED FROM SOUTHERN LEBANON INTO ISRAEL

In a statement from the Israeli army, it was announced that 35 missiles were fired from southern Lebanon toward northern Israel and the city of Haifa.

It was stated that the missiles were fired at the Western and Upper Galilee and Haifa Bay regions, and that warning sirens sounded in the area.

It was noted that the Israeli army intercepted some of the missiles, while others fell in open areas.

2,672 PEOPLE KILLED IN ISRAEL'S INTENSIFYING ATTACKS IN LEBANON

The Israeli army, which has been engaged in controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, launched hundreds of airstrikes on September 23 against southern Lebanese cities as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions.

According to data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, a total of 2,672 people have been killed and 12,468 people have been injured since October 8, 2023, including 104 children and 194 women.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in airstrikes carried out by the Israeli army on Beirut on September 27.

Hezbollah is responding to Israel with rockets and missiles. No major damage has been reported in these attacks on the Israeli side, which mostly target army bases.

It is estimated that hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced in Lebanon due to Israeli bombardment.

While the wave of migration from the southern parts of the country toward the capital Beirut and the north continues, the Lebanese government announced that more than 486,000 of the displaced persons have migrated to Syria.
