Iran sends message to US and Israel regarding weapons capacity

In a statement directed at the US and Israel, Hossein Mohebbi, spokesperson for the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, argued that assessments regarding Iran's missile and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) capacity are flawed.

According to reports in the Iranian press, Mohebbi stated in his assessment of his country's military capacity that weapons and capabilities not previously used could be deployed in the event of a possible attack. "We will use different weapons in the event of a possible attack," Mohebbi said.

Claiming that the weapons Iran has used during conflicts have surprised the "enemy" with their range, destructive power, and precision, Mohebbi stated that the US and Israel have misread Iran's missile and UAV capacity.

Mohebbi also claimed that despite the US's advanced military power, it has been unable to open the Strait of Hormuz. Stating that US warships have withdrawn to a distance of 400 kilometers from the Strait of Hormuz and are stationed in Bahrain, Mohebbi evaluated this as a success for Iran.

The Revolutionary Guards spokesperson stated, "Iran has certain capabilities and strategic targets that it has not used so far. These capabilities will be used when necessary."
