Israeli army bombs surroundings of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza
The Israeli army has launched intense airstrikes around Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, which it has kept under siege for more than a month.
According to information obtained from eyewitnesses, the Israeli army heavily bombed the area surrounding Kamal Adwan Hospital, located in the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
Large explosions also occurred in the al-Fakhura area, located northwest of the Jabalia Refugee Camp, as the Israeli army targeted homes in the region.
The Israeli army had withdrawn from Kamal Adwan Hospital on October 25 after raiding it, leaving behind numerous dead and causing massive destruction inside the facility. It had also detained many healthcare workers and displaced Palestinians at the hospital.
Since October 7, 43,552 Palestinians have been killed, including approximately 17,210 children and 11,742 women, and 102,765 people have been injured in the attacks carried out by Israel on the Gaza Strip.
While it is reported that thousands of bodies remain under the rubble, civilian infrastructure is also being destroyed by targeting hospitals and educational institutions where the public has taken shelter.
ISRAEL'S PLAN TO FORCE PALESTINIANS TO MIGRATE
The Israeli army, which launched intense airstrikes on northern Gaza, particularly the Jabalia Refugee Camp, on October 5, began a ground offensive in these regions on October 6.
This step is believed to have been taken to evacuate Palestinians from northern Gaza in order to prepare settlements for Israelis, a plan previously reflected in the Israeli press and known as the "Generals' Plan."
Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued a warning to Palestinians in Beit Hanoun, Jabalia, and Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip in a statement on his social media account on October 7, sharing a map of the areas requested to be evacuated.
The similarity of the map shared by Adraee, who called on Palestinians to go to the al-Mawasi region in southern Gaza, to the "Generals' Plan" regarding the forced displacement of Palestinians—which was prepared and presented to the government at the initiative of General Giora Eiland, the former head of the Operations Division of the Israeli army—drew attention.
This plan, titled the "Generals' Plan," envisions the deportation of Palestinians from the northern Gaza Strip, followed by the siege of the region and the denial of entry for food, fuel, and clean water.
