In a statement, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that numerous cases of diseases such as scabies, diarrhea, chickenpox, skin diseases, and bronchitis have been identified.

The statement said, "3,150 cases of infectious diseases, mostly among children, were detected in health centers in the Gaza Strip in one day."

Emphasizing the insufficiency of drinking and daily-use water and the inability to meet personal hygiene needs, the statement noted, "Infectious diseases are spreading rapidly due to the large crowds in shelters."

Noting that the condition of hospitals is deteriorating, the statement warned against "a major wave of epidemics that will strike the Gaza Strip and will be impossible to control."

Due to the blockade imposed by Israel on the Gaza Strip, a serious energy shortage has emerged, and it was announced that hospital generators are on the verge of stopping as fuel entry into the region is not permitted.
