Russia strikes Kharkiv with drones: 6 dead, 10 injured
Six people were killed and 10 others were injured in a drone attack carried out by Russia on Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, during the night.
Russia has struck Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city. In a statement made by regional officials, it was reported that 6 people lost their lives and 10 others were injured in the attack.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced that a drone attack was carried out on the Shevchenkivskyi district, noting that damage occurred to buildings.
BUILDINGS AND VEHICLES DAMAGED
Terekhov stated that residential areas were targeted in the attack, reporting that a 9-story high-rise building, 3 dormitories, an administrative building, a shop, a gas station, and vehicles were damaged.
The Ukrainian military, meanwhile, announced that its air defense systems destroyed 3 of the 6 missiles and 28 of the 32 drones launched by Russia.
