Trump and Putin in Alaska for historic meeting
US President Donald Trump has arrived in Alaska aboard Air Force One for his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Air Force One, carrying the US President, landed at Elmendorf-Richardson Base, where the meeting is to be held. After the Russian leader and his delegation also arrived at the base, the two stepped off their respective aircraft and walked across a red carpet, shaking hands in front of members of the press.
Putin then got into Trump's vehicle to travel to the location where the meeting would take place.
After a short journey, the two leaders arrived at the venue for the talks. The first images of this significant development followed shortly after.
