Trump’s ‘Biden’ joke at the White House makes Xi Jinping laugh

The meeting between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping at the White House in Washington became a topic of conversation not only for their diplomatic talks but also for a moment captured on camera.

In footage shared by the White House, Trump was seen accompanying Xi through a corridor featuring portraits of former US presidents. As the two leaders walked down the hall, Trump pointed to a different image in the section where Joe Biden’s portrait was expected to be.

Referencing the use of a signature machine called an Autopen to sign some documents during the Biden administration, Trump told Xi Jinping, “This is also Biden.” The footage showed Xi laughing at the remark.

AUTOPEN CONTROVERSY BACK ON THE AGENDA

In previous statements, Trump had claimed that an Autopen was used instead of a real signature on the majority of official documents signed during the Biden era. Trump had argued that the use of this method on official documents without the president’s explicit permission was prohibited.

Regarding the same controversy, the US President had previously stated, “The radical left-wing lunatics surrounding Biden around the desk in the Oval Office took the presidency out of his hands.”
