Trump’s remarks on Netanyahu and Iran: “Netanyahu wants me to stay in the war”
U.S. President Donald Trump said that Netanyahu wants to keep him in the war; he stated that they cannot allow Iran to violate agreements.
U.S. President Donald Trump made a striking statement regarding Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. The U.S. President said that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu wants to continue playing an active role in developments concerning Iran. Trump used the phrase, “Netanyahu wants me to stay in the war.”
In his statement, Trump noted that the talks were going well and delivered a tough message regarding Iran. The U.S. President said, “We can no longer allow Iran to violate agreements.”
''I WOULD ELIMINATE THEIR BRIDGES IN LESS THAN AN HOUR''
"It is a good time to make a deal for Iran. If they don't make a deal, I will go back and finish the job. I could eliminate most of their bridges in less than an hour. I could disable their power plants in a day.
"FORDOW MOUNTAIN AND OTHER TARGETS ARE ON THE TABLE"
Making assessments about the agenda on Fox News, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the talks with Tehran are ongoing and said the following:
"Fordow Mountain is not a big problem. We are in a very strong position with Iran right now."
Underlining that military force would be deployed in the scenario that a deal cannot be reached, Trump refreshed his threats that Fordow Mountain, strategic bridges, and critical infrastructure facilities could be targeted.
"REACHING A DEAL IS MORE LOGICAL THAN DESTROYING THE WHOLE COUNTRY"
Emphasizing that a diplomatic compromise is more rational compared to the military option, Trump made the following claims regarding Iran's nuclear capacity:
"We have a very strong relationship with Iran right now. Reaching a deal with Iran is better than destroying the rest of the country."
The U.S. President, who argued that the Tehran administration has effectively accepted that it cannot possess nuclear weapons, stated that this situation must be officially declared by Iran.
"PERMISSION IN THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ IS UNDER OUR CONTROL"
Making bold claims regarding the strategic waterway in the Gulf, Trump alleged that control in the Strait of Hormuz is in the hands of the U.S. Stating that only ships approved by the Washington administration can pass through the strategic line, Trump expressed that the U.S. stance is uncompromising, saying, "We will finish the job if necessary."
"IF THERE IS NO COMPROMISE, OPERATIONS WILL RESTART"
Stating that he hopes to avoid a new air campaign targeting critical points such as power plants and bridges, Trump clearly expressed the plan in case negotiations stall. He announced that if no results come from the table, the U.S. military will resume military operations from where they left off and "complete the mission" that has been assigned.
"WE WILL REMOVE NUCLEAR MATERIALS FROM THE REGION"
Emphasizing that they have definitive intelligence regarding the facility and developments at Fordow Mountain, Trump claimed that if a deal is not reached, the nuclear materials at the facility in question would be cleared from the region through an operation.
Trump’s words have sparked a new debate regarding Washington’s stance on the Iran and Israel axis at a time when tensions in the Middle East remain high.
