Trump's statement on Putin and Zelensky: We will see where it goes
Making statements regarding the Russia-Ukraine process, US President Donald Trump said, "We will see if Putin and Zelensky can work together."
Speaking in the Oval Office, Trump said, "We will see where the Russia-Ukraine War goes in the next two weeks."
US President Trump made a statement regarding the Russia-Ukraine process during a visit to a museum in the capital, Washington.
Stating that he is still looking forward to a meeting where Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will come together, Trump said the following:
"WE WILL SEE IF THEY CAN WORK TOGETHER"
"We will see if Putin and Zelenskyy can work together. This relationship is a bit like oil and vinegar. For obvious reasons, they don't get along very well, but we will see. Rather than me being there (at a leaders' summit), I would like to see them hold a meeting and find a way forward."
Claiming that he has stopped 6 wars so far, Trump expressed that the Russia-Ukraine War is the most difficult war he has dealt with to date, but that he very much wants to bring it to an end as well.
