Trump's warning to Zelensky: He should not target Moscow
US President Donald Trump warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy regarding attacks on Russia, stating, "He should not target Moscow."
US President Donald Trump made statements to reporters in the White House garden.
In response to a reporter's question about whether Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would attack the Russian capital, Moscow, Trump said, "No, he should not target Moscow."
When asked whether he is currently on Ukraine's side, Trump stated, "I am not on anyone's side," emphasizing that he is on the side of humanity because he wants to stop the deaths.
Reminding that he would increase customs duties on Russia by 100 percent if Russia does not reach a peace agreement regarding Ukraine within 50 days, and that extra customs duties would be applied to countries purchasing oil from Russia, Trump said, "I don't think 50 days is a very long time, and it could be sooner than that. If we cannot reach an agreement at the end of 50 days, it will be very bad."
