In his social media post, Zelenskyy stated, "I sincerely congratulate President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the friendly Turkish people on the occasion of Republic Day. We place great value on our friendly and sincere relations with Türkiye and the cooperation we conduct for the security of the Black Sea region. We are grateful for your unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, your principled stance on key issues, and your efforts toward establishing lasting peace." he said.
Stating that Türkiye has come a long way and is now one of the leading countries in international relations, Zelenskyy added, "We wish for Türkiye's success to be permanent and wish the friendly Turkish people prosperity and happiness."
