WCK workers lost their lives in an attack carried out by Israel on the Deir al-Balah region in Gaza on April 1.
In a statement from WCK, which is headquartered in the US capital Washington, it was stated that the 7 workers who died in the attack were citizens of Australia, Poland, the United Kingdom, the US-Canada, and Palestine.
The statement noted that the team was in 2 armored vehicles bearing the organization's logo in a deconfliction zone at the time of the attack.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, arguing that there was "no intent" in the killing of the WCK workers, had stated: "These things happen in war, we will investigate this to the end.
