Efforts to combat a wildfire that began on Saturday near the city of Reno in the U.S. state of Nevada are ongoing. According to information provided by authorities, the flames have reduced more than 15,000 acres of land to ashes, while 32 homes were completely destroyed and 6 others sustained damage.

It was reported that 7 people were injured in the fire. Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District Chief Richard Edwards announced that 4 of the injured were civilians and 3 were firefighters.
