Fiat Egea is preparing to conclude its 11-year production journey in Turkey with a special version to be produced in limited numbers. The "Egea Cross Limited Legend Series" has been announced for the model, which is sold under the name Tipo in the European market and is produced globally in Turkey.
The special series, which will be limited to only 100 units, was developed based on the Egea Cross Limited package. The model features equipment such as 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a full LED front and rear lighting group, a 10-inch multimedia screen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a rearview camera, wireless charging, and keyless entry and start.
Details that distinguish the series from the standard version include the "Legend" emblem on the B-pillars and a numbering plate used in the interior. This plate indicates the vehicle's sequence in the limited production run of 100 units.
The Egea Cross Limited Legend Series is powered by a 1.6-liter MultiJet diesel engine paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch DCT automatic transmission. The engine, which produces 130 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, accelerates the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.2 seconds, with a maximum speed stated as 200 km/h.
While the total production of the Egea, which has reached high sales figures in Turkey since 2016, has exceeded 1.4 million, its domestic sales have surpassed 750 thousand. The turnkey price of the limited-edition farewell series has been announced as 1,999,999 TL.
