The tender process for the new broadcast period covering the 2027-2032 seasons in Turkish football has begun. According to the specifications announced by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), the five-year period will be conducted through five separate packages containing different broadcasting rights.
The tender is expected to be one of the most comprehensive processes to date, both in terms of cost and technical broadcasting infrastructure. While participating companies are expected to submit their bids by the end of the month, the total tender value is targeted to exceed the $400 million threshold.

WHICH PACKAGES ARE IN THE TENDER?
Package A in the specifications covers domestic live match broadcast rights for the Süper Lig. Package B includes radio broadcast rights and extended match highlights for the Süper Lig and 1. Lig. Package C contains international broadcast rights for Süper Lig and 1. Lig matches.
While Package D covers live broadcasts on international betting platforms and digital highlight rights, Package E stands out as the most comprehensive option, consolidating all packages under a single umbrella. Live data rights obtained from the matches have been excluded from this tender.
For the tender, which will be conducted via closed bids and an auction method, companies must pay a tender file fee of 750 thousand liras by the meeting date of November 30.
Articles regarding technical broadcast quality in the new specifications also draw attention. Accordingly, it is mandatory to provide transmission up to 4K resolution using the latest generation cameras and to offer live broadcast options in vertical format for smartphone users.
