Thank goodness for Artificial Intelligence (!)

The research I am conducting, focusing on university students—in other words, Generation Z—causes me concern, even if I am not surprised, in the face of the meaning attributed to artificial intelligence. 

Beyond systematic research, I think we all observe how this similar effect spreads to all generations, regardless of age, and to society as a whole, with a new story every day.

Today, just because it resembles a human, we quietly approach and say 'thank goodness you exist' to artificial intelligence, just like in the song by Leman Sam.

Imagine an artificial intelligence application to which you say 'thank goodness you exist!' after a long conversation...

Is what stands before us a portrait of us losing our minds? 

Is it really 'thank goodness'? If we felt this way even for a moment, then for that moment, yes, it really is thank goodness.

When we think about its existence, when we think about its presence... It exists, doesn't it! 

But, is it good? Good, bad, and existence. We seem to be knocking on the door of philosophy.

Because saying 'thank goodness you exist!'—a phrase we use to express the meaning of a person's existence for us—to artificial intelligence is more than just a habitual thank you.

You know that cliché phrase that sticks to its language: 'Not only..., but also...', let me express it in that format now:

Not only because of its meaning or function for us, but also the act of voicing it as if it feels this, a state of loading an existence beyond its own existence onto it. 

Do we sit our computer, our book, our pen, or our chair in front of us and say 'thank goodness you exist!'? 

Didn't your artificial intelligence say 'thank goodness you exist' to you today? It might be because you didn't ask it to.

I know you don't ask for such a thing from me either, but I want to, and I am saying it. 

Because we have almost no doubt left about the reality of a psychology that needs the 'thank goodness you exist' expression from artificial intelligence. 

At a time when humans do not treat each other like humans and do not even notice each other's existence, the need for 'thank goodness you exist' is increasing, and artificial intelligence, which takes over many tasks belonging to humans, is taking this on with all its heart (!) as well.

Far from algorithms, without knowing who you are, but assuming that you are human, that you are reading, and that you are thinking and criticizing while reading,

I say... Thank goodness you exist! Thank goodness you exist and thank goodness you continue to think...
