CYANIDE DIARIES FROM BERGAMA-14
Humanity was able to exist and survive in the wild world not only through the intelligence it possessed but also through living and acting together.
The formation of communities, gradually of peoples, and the emergence of nations was a long process in the context of social development.
It was understood, especially after World War II, that the destruction caused by imperialist wars of partition could lead to the extinction of the human race.
Or, it was thought by the politicians of the Capitalist masters that the partition of the World by Imperialist centers after this war was sufficient for that time.
But Capitalism had a habit: when it entered a crisis, it saw the solution in war.
Of course, the desire of the peoples was "peace": to live peacefully in tranquility!
In this context, the "United Nations," a New York-based international organization aiming to protect global peace, security, international cooperation, and human rights, was established on October 24, 1945.
Although it is not very effective today, it continues its existence as an international platform.

The issue of unity also entered the agenda between workers and employers in the World.
In 1864, the First International was formed in London to ensure the international solidarity of the working class, to spread socialism against capitalism, and to defend workers' rights.
Anti-capitalists such as Karl Marx, Mikhail Bakunin, Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, and Friedrich Engels were the leaders of this organization.
The most important contribution of this formation to workers was to popularize the "8-hour workday demand" in 1866.
After the dissolution of this union, the Second International was founded in Paris by socialist parties in 1889.
"May 1st was declared as International Workers' Day." It was celebrated.
This decision is implemented today not only by workers but also by states in the international arena.
This union, which dissolved with World War I, was revived as the Third International in Moscow in 1919 after the 1917 Bolshevik revolution by V.I. Lenin, the first President of the Soviet Union.
It, too, was abolished by J. Stalin in 1945 after World War II.
Following the end of this union, also called the "Comintern," which was formed by the coming together of International Communist Parties, Social Democratic Parties founded the "Socialist International" in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1951.
This organization, which continues its activities on a global scale for "social justice, workers' rights, and peace," still exists today.
It has 120 members, and the "CHP" from Turkey is a member of this union.
Today, the Socialist International is chaired by the Prime Minister of Spain and leader of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), Pedro Sánchez.

The first organization of employers at the international level took place with the "International Organisation of Employers (IOE)," founded in 1920.
The IOE was established to represent the interests of employers on a global platform and continues its activities today.
It has 150 members in about 140 countries.
Since its inception, the IOE has taken significant initiatives as the "global voice of employers, on shaping the world of work and the business world's contribution to sustainable development."
It has represented and continues to represent employers in the "International Labour Organization (ILO)," which was founded in 1919 and sets international standards for working life.
The "ILO" is now an organization affiliated with the United Nations, specialized in its field regarding workers' rights.
The "International Organisation of Employers (IOE)" has ensured and continues to ensure that "the needs and expectations of the business world are reflected in global policies by presenting the employers' perspective on international platforms" such as the G20, G7, the United Nations, and the World Trade Organization.

It is known that the driving force of social progress in most of the World over the last 200 years or so is Capitalism in its various phases.
Labor, capital, natural resources, and technology are the fundamental elements of this power.
In its initial period, primitive capitalism, which brutally exploited the working class and peasants, became monopolized with its accumulations in the fields of industry and capital, and their merger.
Even with the stage it reached, called imperialism; by exporting capital to foreign countries and using military force to protect its investments and profits there, it set out to be the baton-wielding owner of the World.
After World War II, it drowned countries like Vietnam and Cambodia in blood.
It managed to prevent their potentially strong reactions by transferring a portion of the values obtained from these developments to the world of labor.
To protect and increase its markets and to silence the masses, it did not hesitate to provoke the "consumption frenzy" of societies along with increasing production.
It succeeded in adapting to developing and renewing technology and multiplying its profits by using it.
Although this situation relatively improved the living conditions of the lower social classes, it also encountered the fierce resistance of the laboring classes, who demanded justice and equality, and the social forces acting with them.
In this entire environment, it was also seen that monopolized capital groups in fields such as oil, heavy industry, and technology clashed with each other.
The rise of information and communication monopolies, which have gained tremendous power in recent years, is evident.

The spread of all these developments to the World, partnerships between companies, collaborations, capital sharing, and the realization that profit can be shared without violent conflict led to the emergence of concepts such as "globalism" and "globalization," with Capitalism viewing the entire world as its field of activity.
Some scholars who ponder this subject define "globalization" as "the process of international integration arising from the exchange of products, ideas, cultures, and worldviews."
In another definition, this process covers "human and non-human activities, multinational, transnational, and transcultural integration."
In the modern sense, it is known that the concept of "globalism" was shaped in the USA in the 1940s, especially after World War II, with the USA's efforts to create a global capitalist order.
In this period when the economic and military power of the USA was very high, with the collapse of the Soviet Union, which was attempting to become a Socialist country, the world is moving towards a US-centered capitalist order globally.
The former and current Presidents of the USA are "happy" to threaten the peoples of the World by shaking their fingers!
The People's Republic of China, in this environment, while raising the living standards of its own people with the economic development and technological breakthroughs it has achieved through semi-capitalist practices, is quietly strengthening its presence in the international arena with new experiments in the context of socialism.
Today, the actors of "globalism" are increasing.
The interesting unions and separations achieved between the European Union, Russia, China, and the USA, along with the sharing-based local conflicts that accompany them, are the new environments of this evolution.
Whether the global power center will be unipolar or multipolar depends on future developments.
How much benefit and harm this flow will bring to peoples along with rising environmental problems, the intensity of the pressure on humans and nature, and the measure of social reaction to these are the fundamental problems of the coming days.
***
In the context of all these developments, the increasing population and consumption, and the need for raw materials required for production, make mining for precious metals a sector of extreme interest.
US Imperialism, with the power it possesses, has recently been attempting to seize the underground wealth of Ukraine, and to annex Denmark's Greenland island, and even Canada, to itself.
However, the environmental pollution and toxic waste created while separating them from the soil with chemicals, especially to obtain precious metals, lead to deadly consequences for humans and nature.
Of course, "gold" is in the leading roles in this regard!
The fact that gold has a value-measuring quality beyond its physical use, and that it has represented wealth and power for centuries, is the main reason for capitalism's hysteria to hold it in its hands.
This is the driving motive for Global Capitalism to engage in cyanide gold mining, which pollutes and poisons many places in the World and leads to irreparable disasters.
The fact that the method used in this type of mining can be risky and lethal can lead capitalism, which wants to get its hands on gold, to act very brutally in these areas.
When "gold" is mentioned, eyes go dark!
In the century when capitalism first developed, this World experienced a "savage capitalism" that did not hesitate to employ children, crushing them, and forced women and men to work for 16 hours, seizing their labor.
Capitalism, which has recently shown a "polite" and civilized attitude towards its employees by using technology and knowledge in informatics and many industrial fields, is showing its old, thought-to-be-forgotten "savage" face again in environments related to the environment, such as "cyanide gold and silver operations."
It earns money and power by poisoning nature and humans!
"New savage capitalism" is perhaps the new reality of the socio-economic world.
It is understood that everything will be shaped accordingly.
Everything will be re-shared. And brutally at that!
Turkey and Bergama are getting cozy with cyanide-using foreign and local companies under such universal conditions.
Cyanide locusts have crossed the threshold in Bergama with the help of collaborators and are now spreading to Turkey.

(Tokat-Erbaa. Humanity marching against the cyanide mine-2023)
***
In this context, what happened in Bergama is like an "applied lesson"!
The cyanide-using EUROGOLD company, which came to Bergama near the West Anatolian coast in 1989, initially belonged to the Australian-origin ACM (Australian Consolidated Company).
This company, ACM, was later purchased by the US-Australian-origin NORMANDY company.
NORMANDY, a notorious cyanide user, began to settle firmly in Bergama despite the objections of the general public and the warnings of scientific circles.
NORMANDY, which had good relations with many segments of Ankara, found itself a new partner during this process.
Global capital did not like to travel alone!
It either found itself a stakeholder or swallowed smaller companies!
Just like the titan/giant Cronus (Time), the owner of the universe in Hellenic mythology, swallowing his children born from his wife Rhea (Nature) so as not to lose his throne!

(Cronus-Time swallowing his children born from Rhea-Nature)
The people of Bergama were not very reliable either! They could grumble!
NORMANDY needed partners at that time to share the risks it would encounter in Turkey, where it had just arrived, rather than swallowing.
It would find him, them too!
NORMANDY took the Canadian-looking METAL MINING CORPORATION company as a partner with a 33% share using a method called "joint venture."
The size of the cyanide gold pie in Turkey had been understood by the World.
Cyanide gold companies were about to dive into the country.
Once it was realized that Bergama was the first step of this business, international capital would now set out to suppress those who opposed it with all its might and ugly methods to achieve its goal.
Globalism/Global Capital was advancing step by step in Turkey. With its "new savage" face!
The Canadian METAL MINING company, which was placed alongside the American capital that entered Bergama under the name NORMANDY, was also an appetitive octopus arm.
It was understood after a while that a company claiming to be Canadian actually belonged to German capital.
American and German capital were arm in arm in Anatolia.
Yes, yes, German capital!
And what capital!
The real owner of the Canadian-looking METAL MINING company was the German industrial giant METALGESELLSCHAFT.

(Metalgesellschaft stock certificate-1933)
At the beginning of the 20th century, it was called "a monster produced by monopoly capitalism."
METALGESELLSCHAFT was a partnership. Who wasn't among its partners:
Large organizations such as Daimler Benz, Siemens, Dresdner Bank, GMW GmbH, and Kuwait Investment were the ones that created this giant.
Almost all actors of German Imperialism in the guise of companies were preparing to rob Bergama with their mouths watering.
This German METALGESELLSCHAFT had become a partner of the Australian-looking US company NORMANDY, which had set out to operate the cyanide mine in Bergama through the Canadian-looking METAL MINING company it owned.
When the identity of METAL MINING was revealed, this time this company turned into the Canadian-looking INMET company.
Look at the business, the boss of this INMET, like METAL MINING, was the German METALGESELLSCHAFT.
Moreover, METAL MINING and INMET, whose owners were the same German METALGESELLSCHAFT, were operating the "copper mine" in Rize ÇAYELİ with a 50% share together with the Turkish ETİBANK and GAMA companies in those years.

(Society opposing the destruction of their villages with dynamite exploding every day in Rize Çayeli Madenli-2021)
In 2004, the Canadian-looking German INMET took 100% of the shares of the Rize-ÇAYELİ Copper mine and operation.
In other words, the real boss, German METALGESELLSCHAFT, was the owner of this place for many years.
Probably due to the rising reactions to German capital regarding mining in Turkey, METALGESELLSCHAFT disposed of the ÇAYELİ operation in 2013.
Another Canadian company, called FIART QUANTUM MINING, bought INMET and ÇAYELİ.
Global Capital was dancing with mines producing toxic waste and with each other!
***

(People demonstrating in 2011 in Thessaloniki-Greece against the cyanide gold mine intended to be operated: The cyanide company is the same: Canadian El Dorado, which robbed Efemçukuru-İzmir and Kışladağ-Eşme-Uşak)
It is seen that German companies added capital to their capital by operating their mines in Anatolia.
Well, a little bit remained for Turkey too!
However, the real amounts of the profits made by such companies and the taxes they paid to Turkey were never disclosed.
Gold was light in weight but heavy in value!
And for years, foreign companies, together with their Turkish partners, have been chasing gold using cyanide.
Of course, it's not that locals who learned the business from foreigners and formed partnerships with them didn't emerge during this process!
They tried and are trying to extinguish and silence the environmental struggle that the public has undertaken to protect their lives and property with fallacies such as;
"Germans do not want gold to be extracted in Turkey;
they are trying to prevent gold mines from being operated by using environmentalists;
German Foundations are deceiving the villagers."
However, it is now understood that the giant companies of German Capitalism are also involved in the business, along with Global World capital, which exploits our mines and pollutes our environment.
In this context, it turns out how empty such claims and slanders thrown at environmentalists are.
How ridiculous is the claim that German foundations encourage villagers who oppose the World and German Capitalism's attempt to pollute our country.
It is as cruel as their attempt to show as proof of this that Turkish environmentalists are in solidarity against cyanide gold with all ecology/environmental protection organizations in the World, including Germany, France, and Greece!
While public reaction is tried to be covered up with these lies, how painful it is that some State segments run to their aid with empty dreams and distorted expectations, and local "savage" capitalists rub their hands!
Whereas everything is clear as day!
Let alone preventing gold mining in Turkey, German capital is one of the pioneers of such toxic mining, on the contrary.
And together with its partner American companies!
Whereas "new savage capitalism" has neither an identity nor a personality!
"Gold" knows how to shape those who worship it!
***
Turkish Capitalism, which learned cyanide gold mining from Americans and Germans, is now involved in the cyanide business and is digging up every part of the country with a major attack.
It is reconquering Anatolia!
The region they have set their eyes on in recent years is the Yeşilırmak basin near the Black Sea.
An attempt is being made to operate a cyanide gold mine on a 20 thousand decare land in the Sakarat and Boğalı plateaus within the borders of the Erbaa district of Tokat province.
The mine belongs to "VERUSA HOLDING," which established "GALATA ALTIN İŞLETMELERİ A.Ş."

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of this company is Mustafa Ünal, and its CEO is Ömer Özbay.
It is known that Ömer Özbay served as an advisor to AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan between 2011-2017.(https://ekolojibirligi.org/siyanurcu-sirketin-ceosu-erdoganin-danismani-cikti/)
The holding perhaps takes the name "Verusa" from the Latin word "Verus=True, Correct."
It carries an intellectual name!
Then it should be understood that what is "true and real" is the destruction and poison that "cyanide mining" gives to the environment for a handful of gold.
It is the screams of the living things in the region!
The struggle that the people of Tokat-Erbaa are waging to protect their lives and environment from "cyanide and arsenic" poisons is "real, true, and justified."
Yes, local and foreign cyanide companies have swarmed into our country like locusts.
The cyanide octopus has tightly wrapped Anatolia with its arms.
They are plundering!
Oh, for help!
