Local cartoon character Niloya reaches 7 billion views on YouTube

Niloya, one of Turkey's local cartoon characters, has surpassed a significant milestone in viewership figures on digital platforms. According to a statement from the production team, the cartoon has reached 7 billion views and 700 million hours of watch time on YouTube.

The production, which conveys themes such as Turkish culture, family values, love for nature, and helping others to children, reaches its audience through 13 YouTube channels. It was reported that the total number of subscribers across Niloya's channels is approaching 6.5 million.

The content is published in Turkish as well as English, Portuguese, Arabic, Spanish, and Italian. The production also aims to offer an inclusive screen experience with content prepared in sign language for hearing-impaired children.

The statement noted that Niloya is prepared with the contributions of expert psychologists, pedagogues, and content consultants. Among the countries where the cartoon is most followed abroad are Germany, Azerbaijan, the Netherlands, France, and Austria.

Regarding the viewer profile data, it was stated that 56 percent of users are women and 44 percent are men, due to account usage by parents. In terms of age distribution, the 25-34 age group ranks first with 49.5 percent.
