A notable reaction has come from within the AKP toward Savcı Sayan, an AKP member who brought to the agenda allegations that BRSA President Şahap Kavcıoğlu demanded 20 billion lira from Emre Tezmen.
AKP Central Decision and Administrative Board (MKYK) member Mücahit Yanılmaz warned Sayan in a post on his social media account. Yanılmaz recalled President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's words regarding the fund crisis: "We are conducting the operation with the precision of a surgeon."
In his post, Yanılmaz argued that Sayan's statements could harm the party, using the phrase, "With your posts, you are burning and destroying everything, regardless of whether it is wet or dry." He criticized Sayan's attitude by comparing it to "someone who wants to buy a water glass from a glassware store but breaks and smashes everything in the shop."
AKP member Yanılmaz addressed Sayan, asking, "Are you aware of who you are pleasing and who you are upsetting with your posts?" Yanılmaz asked whether he believed that Erdoğan would manage the process with "surgical precision," and questioned the meaning of the posts made despite this belief.
In his message, Yanılmaz stated, "Some are eagerly waiting for this fortress (the AK Party) to collapse, using the fund as an excuse. How right is it to carry water to their mill?"
Concluding his post with the words, "This is a brotherly warning," Yanılmaz stated that "no one has the power to destroy" the AKP under the leadership of President Erdoğan.
