Reaction from Şoray Uzun following the death of Serhat Kılıç! 'It is disrespectful to both his family and his memory'
As the investigation continues following the discovery of actor Serhat Mustafa Kılıç dead in his home, his close friend Şoray Uzun made a statement at the Council of Forensic Medicine. Uzun reacted to unconfirmed allegations being circulated, stating that the misinformation is disrespectful to Kılıç's family and his memory.
As the investigation launched after actor Serhat Mustafa Kılıç was found dead in his Istanbul home by his girlfriend continues, a notable statement came from his close friend Şoray Uzun.
Following the examinations at the scene, Kılıç's body was taken to the Council of Forensic Medicine morgue. While the death of the 51-year-old actor caused sadness in the art world, Şoray Uzun, who acted alongside Kılıç for years, also went to the Council of Forensic Medicine for the funeral procedures.
"I CAME TO SAY GOODBYE"
Speaking to journalists, Uzun said that the autopsy procedures were completed and that Kılıç's family would arrive from Ankara to collect the body. Uzun, who appeared to have difficulty speaking, stated that he came to the institution to bid farewell to his friend one last time.
"The autopsy is finished; his family will come from Ankara in the morning to collect him from here. We are very sad... I couldn't make it to his house in time, and there is nothing to be done at this hour, but I came to say goodbye."

"IT IS DISRESPECTFUL TO BOTH HIS FAMILY AND HIS MEMORY"
Uzun also reacted to the allegations made following Kılıç's death. Emphasizing that sharing unconfirmed information would be disrespectful to both his family and Kılıç's memory, Uzun stated that presenting assumptions as if they were facts is unethical.
"There is misinformation; sharing this information would be disrespectful to both Serhat's family and his memory. Presenting assumptions as facts does not align with any ethical values. One should not share comments based on speculation so recklessly."
In a previous post on his social media account, Şoray Uzun had described his long-standing friendship with Kılıç, saying goodbye with the words, "We spent ten years of our lives together. We laughed, we cried, we fought, we made up."
