Accident in Bolu: 6 injured
On the D-100 highway in Bolu, a car traveling in the direction of Ankara collided with another car attempting to make a U-turn. Six people were injured in the accident.
The accident occurred on the D-100 highway near the Karacaağaç neighborhood. According to the information obtained, a car with license plate 61 ND 024, driven by Uğur Y. and traveling in the direction of Ankara, collided with a car with license plate 06 DEH 542, driven by Uğur A., which was coming from the opposite lane and attempting to make a U-turn.
TRAPPED INSIDE THE VEHICLE
Six people were injured in the accident, which left both cars totaled. Bystanders reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon notification, numerous health, police, and fire department teams were dispatched to the area.
The citizens injured in the accident were placed into ambulances. One injured person, who was trapped inside the vehicle, was extracted with the help of the fire department and handed over to medical teams.
The injured were transported to hospitals in the city by ambulances. The cars involved in the accident were rendered unusable.
An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
