Breaking News: İmamoğlu's second testimony completed!

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality on charges of 'terrorism' and 'corruption.' As part of the investigation, IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu was taken into custody in a dawn operation on the morning of March 19.

İmamoğlu gave his testimony regarding the corruption allegations yesterday evening (March 21). In the 121-page testimony record, İmamoğlu denied the allegations and emphasized the political nature of the investigation.

İmamoğlu, who is the subject of 2 separate investigations, began giving his testimony today at 10:00 AM regarding the city consensus.

Meanwhile, İmamoğlu's lawyers stated in a press release, "İmamoğlu's morale is very high. He wants to give his main testimony to the prosecutor's office."
