CHP Elazığ Deputy Gürsel Erol explains: Is Kılıçdaroğlu a candidate at the convention?
CHP Elazığ Deputy Gürsel Erol stated that claims suggesting Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is attempting to turn the party's bylaw convention, scheduled for September 6-9, into an elective convention are "not accurate."
CHP Elazığ Deputy Gürsel Erol made statements regarding the bylaw convention to be held on September 6-9.
Responding to a question about claims that former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is trying to turn the bylaw convention scheduled for September 6-9 into an elective convention, Erol said:
"The decision and agenda for the 20th Extraordinary Convention to be held in September were taken by our Party Assembly and our esteemed Chairman Özgür Özel, and it is the right decision.
'COMMENTS THAT MR. KILIÇDAROĞLU IS WORKING TOWARD THIS ARE NOT ACCURATE'
Comments suggesting that the upcoming bylaw convention will be turned into an elective convention and that our 7th Chairman, Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, is working toward this are not accurate. The upcoming bylaw convention should include changes that meet the expectations of our party base, allow for the effective use of membership rights, and ensure a strong organizational structure."
