Critical day in the Kaşif Kozinoğlu investigation
In the investigation conducted by the Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the grave is expected to be opened to determine the cause of Kozinoğlu's death.
The exhumation of the grave of former MİT official Kaşif Kozinoğlu, who died in Silivri Prison in 2011 while being held in custody as part of the Ergenekon investigation, is expected to take place today.
Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a decision was made to open the grave to determine the exact cause of Kozinoğlu's death and whether there was any third-party involvement.
It was learned that the procedure, which was planned for yesterday but postponed, is expected to be carried out today. Following the opening of the grave, examinations will be conducted on the samples to be collected.
It was stated that the findings obtained as a result of the examinations will be added to the investigation file.
