Documents reveal IMM was not subject to general inspection during AKP era: 'If anyone is running, it's the AKP'

In a statement based on Ministry of Interior reports, Deniz Yavuzyılmaz said that no general inspections were conducted at the IMM between 2012 and 2019, while all transactions after 2020 have been audited.

Sharing the Ministry of Interior's inspection reports, Yavuzyılmaz stated that no general inspections were carried out by inspectors affiliated with the Ministry of Interior between 2012 and 2019.

In contrast, Yavuzyılmaz announced that all business and transactions of the IMM between 2020 and 2025 were subjected to audits by civil service inspectors.

"IF ANYONE IS RUNNING FROM THE JUDICIARY, IT'S THE AKP!"

Stating, "If anyone is running from the judiciary, it's the AKP!", Yavuzyılmaz noted the following: "We have determined that during the AKP era at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, no 'General Inspection' was conducted by the Ministry of Interior's civil service inspectors between 2012 and 2019!

During the CHP era, however, all business and transactions of the IMM between 2020 and 2025 were subjected to 'General Inspection' by civil service inspectors."

Yavuzyılmaz said this means that all business and transactions during the AKP era at the IMM were shielded from oversight and the judiciary.

Deniz Yavuzyılmaz also shared documents belonging to the Ministry of Interior with the public:

Yavuzyılmaz stated, "This is called shielding all business and transactions during the AKP era at the IMM—including tenders, allocations, and all transactions under the guise of donations—from oversight and the judiciary!"
